SPEAKER COMMITTEE
Doug McDonald has graciously volunteered to step up and chair the speaker committee for the next year. GOLF OUTING

CHRISTMAS PARTY

UPDATE ON WILLS V. FOSTER
The Supreme Court heard oral argument on March 13, 2008. Video of the argument is posted on the Supreme Court website at the link: Supreme Court oral arguments. You will need to scroll down to the case name, and then download either the video or the audio file. The court does not have a set timeframe to issue its decision.
On the plaintiff's side, the plaintiff, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and AARP have filed briefs. On the defendant's side, the defendant and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel have filed briefs. I have placed links to the briefs below. A link to the appellate opinion is also below. THIS MONTH'S MEETING
The May meeting will be held May 8, 2008 at the Springfield Motor Boat Club. Social Hour begins at 5:30, with dinner at 6:30. Cost is $20.00.
Susan Boone, Sangamon County Coroner will be the speaker.
